Given the nature of translation itself, a word-to-word approach is not only inaccurate, but it can also result in mistranslations.
With my experience in the translation industry, an in-depth knowledge of the subject domain, source and target language and cultural backgrounds, I can provide my customers with better value and help them advance internationally.
It allows website contents to be linguistically and culturally adapted to their target audiences, thus increasing their accessibility and making it possible for businesses to expand into new markets throughout the world.
Here is a list of my main specialisation areas. However, should you wish to translate a document that does not belong to any of the following categories, please feel free to send me an e-mail. I will evaluate your request and discuss the next steps with you.
Editing and proofreading are essential tasks to be carried out once the translation is completed. Their aim is to ensure that the translated document is grammatically correct, accurate, coherent, complete and consistent.
Whereas editing mainly focuses on terminology and style checks, allowing the editor to implement several changes to the translation, proofreading, involves checking the correctness of the translation on a grammatical, syntactical and spelling level.
Following an extensive experience as an in-house translation editor I provide my clients with the uppermost terminological accuracy and correctness.
